Course Architect Comments

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you to one of the most picturesque Parkland golf courses in the North of England, within five miles of Manchester and within walking distance of my own home. I discovered this course by accident while walking and up until then I had no idea that it existed. Designed in 1912 by Dr Alister MacKenzie, who also designed many other courses, some of the most famous being Augusta National, Pasatiempo, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne. I designed this course specifically for my own use so there is only one tee on each hole. This is a representation of the course, designed for TW2008, and some elevations may not be the same as the real course. Enjoy your round.
