Sorry that I found my Easter Egg (course) a day late !
This par 72 is, once again, well designed by Wild Turkey, with some nice retaining stone walls around the lakes, but with wide fairways and greens, you should not lay a...egg on that course, and score plenty of... birdies, instead.
Your first one will probably be on the par-3 1st hole, very nice with a gorgeous island (and wide) green and your second one might be on the par-5 3rd hole, with an interesting... dead tree in the middle of the fairway, not far from the green.
Other noteworthy holes are the right dogleg par-4 4th, with palm trees on the right and “normal” trees on the left, the "cute" par-3 7th hole, nice with the lake on the left and palm trees near the green, and the long and straight par-5 9th hole, with a high wall all along the fairway on the right and trees on the left.
The back 9 starts with the scenic and short (less than 330 yards) dogleg par-4 10th hole, with an island fairway in front and the green to the right. Another hole worth mentioning is the par-4 15th, slightly to the left, and quite scenic with a downhill slope midway and a lake on the right.
As for the last two holes, you should have a good eagle opportunity on the par-5 17th, slightly to the right with an elevated green, before finishing on the par-4 18th hole, to admire the nice clubhouse, further back…
With its wide open landscape and very few tricky greens, this course is fun to play but is not as spectacular as some other courses done by Wild Turkey design...
