Animal lovers, don’t play this course ! With a few deer and squirrels passing by, you will have to be very careful hitting your shots on this real fantasy course, quite nice with snow-capped mountains, beautiful tree-lined fairways (with plenty of pretty flowerbeds nearby) and quite a few undulating greens, often guarded by well-placed bunkers.
On this par 71, I prefer the front 9, starting with the left dogleg opening par-4, around a high rocky hill, the left dogleg par-4 3rd hole, with a slanted, narrow and downhill fairway, and the slightly-downhill par-4 4th, with a small pond across the tree-lined fairway (and a tiny bridge on the left), halfway, and a green, slightly to the right.
If the left dogleg par-4 5th hole is also noteworthy, with a jagged thin mountain on the right side of the tree-lined fairway and a slightly-downhill green, my two favorite holes are the par-4 8th, with a winding and elongated lake on the left, and a green, slightly to the left, and the short (around 285 yards) and slightly-downhill par-4 9th, again with water on the left but, this time, ending halfway around the very undulating green.
Then, after the downhill par-4 10th hole, with two high rocky ridges framing the green, a little bit further down, and the uphill par-3 12th, you will face quite a few straight holes, starting with the par-5 13th, with small bushes splitting the fairway, halfway, and four little bunkers in front of the slightly-elevated green.
On the par-4 14th hole, you will need to hit a blind tee shot over some nice bushes, with plenty of bunkers on both sides of the fairway, making it quite narrow, before reaching the slightly-downhill green, before finishing, a little bit later, with the best hole on this course, the right dogleg par-5 18th, with a blind and downhill tee shot over some bushes landing onto an undulated tree-lined fairway (split by deep rough), and with another blind (and very risky) second shot to try to reach the elevated peninsula green, with a little bunker in front and water almost all around.
If you are not too distracted by those animals nearby, you will enjoy this fantasy course, nicely designed by Whiffle56 and fun to play, but the best part for me, was being able to play it, as it is very grainy on many spots with TW07 !

It's really hard to begin. From the 1st tee to the 18th cup the course is a work of beauty. "Little fellows" running all over the fairways and greens. Not sure if they give out artisty awards but this course sure deserves one. Fantastic craftsmanship Mark!
Thank you so much for sharing this one with all of us. Dale
