Hi need some help...just installed windows xp media center and when i go to put tw's 08 back in i get a message that direct x9 or higher is not installed and the game needs it to run(DUH!!!!)....i've gone to microsoft and installed lastest version even tho it was already on my system and i still get mess not installed!!!!WTF.....any help would be app..........thxs

DirectX9 Error FIX :
Heres how:
1. Start the installer as usual, get to the message that tells you about the DirectX problem, do not press OK.
2. Click the Start button, then click Run, type regedit without quotes.
3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\A pp Paths\TW2008.exe in the registry tree.
4. Find the key titled DirectX Installed.
5. Change its value from 0 to 1.
6. Press Ctrl-Alt-Tab and close the Autorun. exe process.
7. Now start the installation again. Youll skip the DirectX check this time.
