| I have watched ALOT of PGA golf and I have played alot, too. I am sure there are alot of you guys on here as well that have done the same. I am watching the Bay Hill tourney right now and I have always noticed that the inside lip of the cups on tour are painted white. That is for the TV viewers and the players themselves to see the cup better from long distances. I was wondering why EA hasnt or any of the designers made the cups on the green, white along the inside rim of the cup? When playing in sunrise or sunset conditions and cloudy weather, it makes it almost impossible to see the cup. Is this possible to do like they have the cup on tour? |

| Just tried it, works great. Makes the hole much easier to see when the green is in the shade. The bad thing is now when I miss a putt, I dont have that as an excuse anymore. |

use windows explorer to get to: C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Game\Ball
right click on the file: cupinterior.dds select rename rename to cupinteriorX.dds (so you saved the original)
go back to your desktop where you saved the cupinterior.dds file from the download zip file right click on it : select copy
go back to this folder C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Data\Images\Game\Ball
right click in the folder window: select paste |

| Pooh. ........ youll need a program like Winzip to unzip the file (http://www.download.com/WinZip/3000-2250_4-10003164.html). I unzip everything to desktop ( makes it easy to find ). Once its unzipped , navigate to the folder that TruBlue provided, and then you can just drag and drop the file into the folder........ |

basically - yes
what ever add-on file should have install instructions, ie the location it should go to
so i usually make a copy of the original, simple rename and leave it in orginal location then paste the replacement file in the same place
some add-ons might have more than one file, or be an entire folder but in those cases, the same method applies
golfers can just be added into the career and ability folders as they usually dont replace an existing one, but some might |
