You can t download The TW07 stock libraries ( we are waiting for permission of EAsports).
And EAsports will not give permission before Newyear i believe.
But when you still have TW07 installed ......it is easy to put TW07 stock libraries in TW08 game.
Go to TW07 course folder.
Default path is: . C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07\Courses
Inside course folder you will find 12 stock folders:
PBL ....SAW....STA....AVI....CPK....FAL....JPN....KHC....KOC....NTL....PRG....RIV.

Inside each stock folder you will find : EAsports Library
For example: inside PBL folder you will find library PBL
Now right click on library file and choose copy.......go to desktop and choose: Paste
And now you will see library file on desktop.
Do the same for other 11 libraries.....and when finished you will have 12 libraries on your desktop.
Now open CLsetup08....and browse to libraries on desktop.....dubble click on each...and all stock TW07 libraries will be installed in TW08 game.

When you don t have TW07 game installed, you can also install TW07 stock libraries (most ,not all) from the DVD to TW08 game. ( browse to courses folder on DVD)

You only need to do this if you are going to uninstall the 07 game, Correct?

Some TW08 custom courses are using TW07 stock libraries (not available for download).
When you don t add all TW07 stock libraries in TW08 game, you will not be able to play some of the released TW08 custom courses.....(only 3 or 4 courses are using TW07 stock libraries)
When you don t have the TW07 game....no worries, you can always wait for the release of TW07 stock libraries later this year.

The reason that I asked is because I have 07 installed and have not done the procedure that you outlined to install the 07 stock libraries into the 08 game. I have downloaded all of the 08 custom courses including Drake Bay that contain 07 stock libraries and they all run fine in my 08 game. Would that mean then that the 07 stock libraries only need to be installed on your computer and not necessarily installed into the 08 game? Or is it maybe because when I used the registry edit to add the 07 customs into 08 that also installed the 07 stock libraries into 08?

It is because of the registry edit......
you added all installed TW07 custom courses + libraries in TW08 ...including TW07 stock libraries.
So when you play TW08 custom course with TW07 stock libraries, the game will search in TW07 game for the TW07 stock libraries to play course in TW08 game.

There is no need for me to do what you outlined here then? Or would it still be a good idea to do it for some reason?

When you already installed TW07 libraries with registry edit, there is no reason to do the steps above....:):)

As far as i know....no information released about TW07 stock libraries.
They are very late this year, i am afraid they will not be released.

You need to put a warning on those courses that use TW2007 stock libraries, if their not ever going to be released. Either that or put up any for download that use TW2007 stock libraries. I downloaded the Thanksgiving Point Course. There was nothing mentioned there that mentioned that the TW07 Stock Libraries were required until I installed it with TW Caddie 08(great program by the way)in which I get the message that the stock libraries were needed. When you have limited bandwith it would be nice to know before I download a course that there might a problem with it (like maybe, that not all of the libraries are available would be nice).

Thanksgiving Point Institute 08
Architect: Shim Wooley
Download Size: 6.04 MB
Released: Saturday, December 08, 2007
Downloads: 831

All thats needed it to add the following line to the bottom of the above list:
* Requires TW07 Stock Libraries
This way I would know before I click the link. It great that you have it in the course deions. The problem is if you recognize the course you are not going to wast time reading the desciption before downloading. If you have it on the page that lists the courses as shown above. It would more noticable and less prone to errors.

When you don t have TW07 game installed, you can also install TW07 stock libraries (most ,not all) from the DVD to TW08 game. ( browse to courses folder on DVD)

There are some in the DVD:\Courses Directory and the rest are in a commpressed file named: 0compressed.zip in the root directory of the DVD. Use winzip or something to decompress. Then you can use TW CADDIE 08 to install.
