| Is there a way to change how the crowd reacts to your shot. Cause they are total spoilers..if I'm on a tough 60 foot putt the crowd cheers 3 seconds before the I make it kills the drama. |

I think you can disable or adjust the crowds sounds:
Start TW08, and on main screen go to:
Options.....Sound
And on bottom you have a slider named: Crowds
when you move the slider to the left, then you should have no crowds sounds. |

| I don't want to turn off the crowd sound, just don't want them to spoil the suspense of my shots. It's like they've solved time travel for 2 seconds....cause they react 2 seconds before I sink a shot 😀 |

Oooh, got it now, yes its a common problem, when you make a hole in 1 then they are yelling before the shot goes in.
I don t think there is a solution for it, when you don t want to disable the crowd sounds.

There is a solution, albeit a little bit of work is required.
All sounds in the game are wav files in the TW sound folder. play through the crowd sounds in the tw08/Sounds/Gallery directory till you find the sound that plays for hole in ones or the hissing sound when you hole out a chip. Rename them with an underscore in front of the filename. Now the game can''t find it so it won''t play it. The hissing one is gamebreaker_start.wav in the basic folder.
Off the top of my head, I don''t know which sound files, but if you want it fixed, I''m sure you can do the leg work, so to speak. |

| I wonder why they put the hissing sound in there. I remember on PGA 98 on the PlayStation, if you holed out, the ball would not have a shadow. Interesting thought process had to go into that one by EA. |
