Keep getting errors: Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.... Access to the path is denied. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. This happens with every file I try. Thanks :)

a little info can go a long ways :)

did TW08 work before ?
what changed ?

windows ???

stock courses play?
custom courses play ?

likeliest culprit is not having admin rights authorized for the game to access the required (library) files

Yes as jbcalg said we need a bit more info about your system.

Not sure but maybe your user account settings ( UAC ) are set to the highest level.
You can try to turn UAC a few notches lower
You can find UAC here: Control panel.....User accounts...change user account settings

Hi, I did eventually figure it out, it had been working before the crash. I did eventually figure it out, thanks so much for the help! Appreciate it. I thought I had it on administrator permission.

Quick intro, I found this site by accident, logged in, downloaded a few courses. I actually purchased TW08 new from Amazon years ago (gasp) and found 06 actually later. Also have played on nephews'' Xbox console.
