Built on a private country estate and set amidst mature english deciduos woodland sheltering the course from much of any wind effects Windlestone is quite a tight and long course where position off the tee is equally important as length.The challenge of the course grows as the round progresss with the real fun starting on the back nine with the ever present trees always looming along with both streams and lakes combining to test your golfing skills.
