TENNESSEE NATIONAL GOLF CLUB
GREG NORMAN DESIGN
He spent much of his 30-year career as the world’s top-ranked player, competing on the greatest golf courses in the world. As one of the world’s leading golf course designers, Greg Norman applied the full range of his experiences and expertise to the design of his signature golf course at Tennessee National.
Utilizing Norman’s least-disturbance design approach, the lands natural framing was unaltered and trees as well as native and fescue grasses have been preserved. The final course design is faithful to the contours and topography of the former gentle, rolling farmland. The result is a tournament-quality golf course that offers an outstanding playing experience for players of all skill levels.
In addition to two holes directly on the water, views of the valleys and surrounding hills provide the course with character and distinction. This golf experience will be unlike anything else in the region.

I would like to thank Suziecue for requesting this course as she lives in this area. I had a great time designing this challenging piece. This ones for you Suzie, I do hope you enjoy it. Big thanks go to Steve (Danutgolf) for his expertise in designing the library that was used in the making of Tennessee National. The textures here all blend well together, and he is to be commended for his excellence on this design. Steve is also to be thanked for his help in the making of the splashscreen, logo, as well as the flag. I also need to really thank Jimbo for his efforts in making the 3DEM and getting the picture in the proper format so that I could even envision getting this project started. Thank you so much for your time on this Jimbo. It was greatly appreciated. My gratitude is also extended to those who took the time to not only play the course in the testing process, but to also give me the critique that I needed to finish this course properly. Thank you ALL so much for your help on this one. I hope you all enjoy many rounds of pleasure at this course.
