Course Architect Comments

Craws Nest Golf Club

Pronounced Kras Nest in the local dialect, the course was designed by Russell Corvine in the 1930s and has since undergone numerous changes, the result being what you see today, a long course, but still short enough off the front tees. A Craw warden has been employed to prevent the local craws stealing golf balls which they think are eggs.

Golfers are reminded that craws are a protected species and golfers may not carry firearms in their bags.
