Kibir-Am-Lak lies in a semi-populated area outside Ethiopia once known as Abyssinia. It plays to par 73 and long at 7800 yards but if the shotsman can manage pars on the uphill holes, he will be rewarded with good chances at birdie or better on the downhill portions.
In the fall, Ras Michael is known to leave his residence in the church at Revelation and can sometimes be seen fishing in the lake off the 15th fairway. Sunset brings a colorful sky and Nyabinghi chants in praise of His Imperial Majesty Halie Selassie I.
