Unusual sights on this par 71 course, with lots of palm trees on top of rocky (vertical) mounds on both sides of wide fairways, with a few water hazards and wide greens.
Holes worth mentioning on the front 9, are the dogleg par-4 2nd, with a river on the left side and a few wide bunkers, the downhill right dogleg par-4 6th hole, with a river across midway and the green on the other bank, the par-4 8th, with a tee shot over a lake and an undulated fairway, and the dogleg par-5 9th hole which follows the river to the right and with a big bunker in front of the green.
On the back 9, the sharp dogleg par-4 13th hole, with a lake on the left side, looks nice, just like the right dogleg par-4 14th (similar to the 9th hole), with the river to the right but with plenty of bushes to the right of the river.
The straight par-3 15th hole is pretty with a tee shot over a lake and palm trees as a backdrop, whereas the left dogleg par-5 18th, with two big bunkers to the right of the river and a long approach shot over the water to the left, will offer you a chance to admire a nice rotonda-shaped building further past the green.
Overall, this course plays very smoothly but, despite M.G.A. Hover's nice work, I don't think this is one of his best as it does not offer too many challenges...
