Another course that I enjoyed playing the second time around, thanks to TW08, with no more water displaying bugs (as seen on TW07), and also because I noticed some new and nice little details along the way...
It started on that left dogleg par-4 1st hole, with those very cute little... milk trucks (!) as tee markers and continued with that red brick grain silo behind the green (and not a water tank, as I first thought, ha, ha !).
I also liked the right dogleg par-4 9th hole, with another silo, not far from the tee box (on the left) and a big pond, near the green on the left side and, on the back 9 (besides the holes previously mentioned), the nice dogleg par-4 12th hole, uphill all the way with its fairway hugging a lake on the right, and the nice par-3 14th, with an elongated lake on the right of the green.
Overall, with that gorgeous signature par-3 11th hole and its island green, and a few more water holes (with streams, ponds and lakes to watch for), this par 70 is quite fun to play and a great way to remember the past as this CGX TPC Southwind course was set on a dairy farm land !

Nice course which must look even better on most PCs but, unfortunately, on mine the water is... green (LOL) !
But that did not stop me from completing my round and discovering some nice holes on my way to the 18th green.
It started with the dogleg to the left par-4 1st hole with its cylinder-shaped small tower made of red brick (water tank ?) near the green. Then came my favorite hole on the front 9 : the beautiful par-5 3rd with its rollercoaster and narrow tree-lined fairway. The par-3 4th hole is also pretty with that big pond in front and all those bunkers around.
On the back 9, I liked the par-4 10th hole with the stream splitting the fairway, the beautiful par-4 15th, also with a meandering stream, and the nice dogleg to the left par-4 18th holes with plenty of trees on one side of the lake.
But the signature hole on this course is the gorgeous par-3 11th with its peninsula green : simply superb !
With their usual talent, the CGX Team designed another nice course, not overly difficult but fun to play. I just wished I could have enjoyed it even more without that little displaying bug...

Excellent course - each hole has it`s own unique way of giving you a challenge. I thought this course did that very well. Looks great and plays awesome. Had to battle for every shot and settled for a 70,70,68 and 66 as I played along with the Pro`s. This is another keeper. Thanks for sharing.
