Very nice course and another top quality MSR design. Good variety in the layout, not too demanding but not a stroll either - I found an assortment of trouble with wayward shots, but often bounced back with a birdie on the next hole - it's that kind of course. Very enjoyable throughout and it looks terrific. Cheers!

With its spacious surroundings and wide fairways, this par-72 is a nice course without being overly difficult, even with its water hazards.
After a few straightforward holes, yuu will reach the dogleg par-4 5th, where you will need to hit a blind approach shot over trees and water on the left side to reach the green. My favorite hole is the dogleg to the left par-4 8th, very scenic with its four little bridges. As for the par-4 9th hole, it is nice too with its tee shot over the water and its gorgeous... gazebo surrounded by flowers near the green.
On the back 9, I like the long dogleg to the left par-5 12th hole with water in front of the tee box and the picturesque par-4 13th hole with its tee shot over the water to reach the green surrounded by trees. But the best view is on the green of the par-4 18th hole with water in front of it and a very nice... statue of a golfer (on the left side) standing in front of the pretty clubhouse.
While not as spectacular or as challenging as Le Golf National (where I just finished playing), this course is quite enjoyable and well-designed, as usual, by MSR Golf !

An open, flat course with not many trees coming into play & all the par 3s are long. Quite picturesque though, especially the gazebo & planting behind the 9th green. It's the large lakes & bunkers you have to watch out for - my fave "watering hole" layouts are 5, 8, 11, 14 & 18. Great stuff...
