This course is not nice, it is simply gorgeous (LOL)!
A stunning masterpiece by JJHold : beautiful scenery and great attention to details (tennis courts, villas, clubhouse, fences, bridges, tee markers, etc...), combined with superb elevation work and strategically-placed bunkers make this course fun to play.
The par-4 1st hole sets the tone : right off the... bat, you are in for a visually stunning experience. The par-3 3rd hole with its big slope and bunkers all around the green is very nice, just like the very hilly 4th and 5th holes. The par-5 6th hole is magnificent with its villas and the par-4 7th with its very narrow fairway will challenge you.
On the back 9, the hilly par-4 10th hole is nice but the twisted par-4 11th hole is even nicer. If you add the par-3 12th hole with its hidden flag, you will enjoy your round all the way to the simply spectacular, and unusual, par-3 18th hole !
Hurry to download this masterpiece or you will regret it ! Thank you so much, JJHold, for all the hard work you did !

Excellent course - looks very good and plays great. Found the greens very well done. I would think 6th and 7th holes would play interesting in windy conditions. Played in lazy conditions - normal and calm and shot 66. This one is a keeper! Thanks for sharing.

Next course....well, I have a course that was real that I turned into a fantasy course all done and tested, just waiting on a library, built it in 4 days while waiting for the Pasatiempo structure library :)....as for real, I am toying with doing the national moonah or augusta national, but nothing definite

I'm just glad you did not give up when you were having trouble before. When I first looked at the greens I was thinking this might take some work but after playing you did A good job on the pins! I even got in to the tree's on 14 and did my best bubba hook shot did not work lol. Thank you very much for the time and effort in putting this on the site for all to enjoy!

i rarely use panos, but for this one I actually tried to use one,, rob (rslay) made one for it, but because of the size of the plot and the massive elevation changes, the pano was showing up in the middle of the course...rob and I both played with it, but it just wouldn't work....to be honest, I hate using panos, I much rather replicate my own surrounds using structures making roads, etc, imo it just looks better, so I rarely bother with panos. I feel the extra time and detail of recreating backgrounds show up better than a picture pano which rarely renders realistic imo... I have such a huge area around this course, I question your ability to see trees on edges tbh

Thanks Davy and everyone else...these greens took FOREVER to make playable as they are very contoured, but I think I worked em out :)

Not all designers use panos Cello. While in some cases they can look good and make even a poorly made course look better in other cases they can detract from the course, ie when a pano shows up between the player and the edge of the course. Panos can also make trees look washed out. I haven't played this course yet so I can't comment on the course edges, but if a hole is too close to the edge of a plot having a pano will not help.

Well Jamie - this is outstanding! As you well know, I have done testing with you and been a little critical of greens in particular (slightly angular ridges, too fast for the slope, etc.)- and, in fact, this is one of the main problems I find playing very dry on many courses - but you have simply nailed it this time. These greens have some challenging pins, but you have smoothed them well, placed pins well and used a texture that is fast enough on very dry, but doesn't let the ball wander off for ever when a putt is missed. This game has some well known failings on replicating fast green conditions, which I have to say are not addressed well by some designers, but you have found the best solution here and created challenging greens on which the putting is very realistic. The rest of the course is beautiful also - it sure does reflect how much time you have put into it, ( I did not even notice the lack of pano, the course and greens had me mesmerised LOL). I truly admire anyone who strives to constantly improve on their previous efforts, and you have done that indeed. Great work mate - well done and thanks for sharing it with the community :)

Would have liked to give a 5 but 1st theres not even a pano attached ? You compileing in W7 Jamie ( i know W7 will not attach a pano ). If so you can send the course to another CD who will compile for you on final to attach a pano, Ill attach for you np just ask were all here to help :)As a repro played ok & looked vn apart from pano ( nasty tree blurr at edges )

Just played a round on the stock course then yours. They both play great, but yours is superior in looks and detail. You've made me a believer in stock course remakes. Fantastic job JJ, it's a must have.

Great job. I only have the EA Sports version from a few years ago to compare it with but the hole were all familiar. I like this version better by a lot. My compliments.
