Fantastic design. Never a dull moment on this one. Plenty to gaze at all round but for me the top Kodak moments were holes 13-14-15, especially the par 3 13th. What a ripper! Provided you play decently you should have a handsome looking scorecard by the end too. Great stuff, loved it, cheers!

Just finished playing my first course where windmills (or should I say wind turbines) are part of the panorama !
This par-72 course is great fun to play, as you will experience, with a lot of variety and elevation and water to deal with.
On the front 9, very different from the back 9, I like the par-4 1st hole but the par-5 3rd with its sloped fairway and water on the left of the green looks even better. The par-4 4th hole and the par-5 6th hole have a great view, especially the latter, and the uphill par-3 9th is pretty too.
But, once you reach on the back 9, it is another story as the terrain becomes more elevated with some "scary" holes, near the cliffs, once you complete the par-5th 10th hole and the par-4 11th, both with water. The uphill par-3 13th is pretty close to the cliffs but nothing compares to the scary dogleg to the right, par-4 14th, a real... cliffhanger !
After these two holes, the par-5 18th hole will provide you with one last tough decision to make : should I go for the green on my second shot with water close to it ?
NeilMunro did a fantastic job with this gorgeous course and I can't even think how long it took for him to come up with such a great design... Thank you so much !

Thanks Dawg, tbh I did think of playing around on the course creator again, but my old XP pc has been in cyber heaven for over a year now, and I never could work out how to get the XP emulator working.

I have some of your real courses, now I'm collecting the rest. The ones I have played are X A LENT. I usually just download the real courses from designers, your work is so great I'm going to start to download and plat the fantasy courses. I have Tempo Lodge and really like it. So I'm sure the rest must be just as good. Thanks form all your hard work and TIME. Now I have said this before in here so here goes again...come out of retirement...lol. A nice course that I think that would be great for your skill and attention to detail would be Pinehurst #2 which had some restoration done to get it closer to the origanl desgin...what do you think...again THANKS

very nice course as usual neil. and may the golf gods reward you as well . i see you are feeling a bit down over the fact that your not getting a fair share of comments on this sight, possitive or negative ,but rest assured neil, i for one dont design and probobly never will, but believe me my friend i do appreciate all you have done, alone and in the combined form with another designer on ocassions. i would only say thank you very much for all your work and the time and effort that you put forth to keep this game fresh and challenging, and would hate too see you or any other good designer leave us cyber golfers stranded without your great designs, so please my friend reconsider your thoughts in keeping your work too yourself as i really believe you would appreciate it more when you share it .

Neil, was going to comment on your course but read your rant and decided against it. If you're doing this for a cyber-pat on the back, then stop, you'll end up where you are now. If you do this because you enjoy it (which I question), then keep on doing it for YOURSELF, you can judge by proxy with the umber of downloads.

Its the interwebz, everyone is in a hurry with the cell, the net, their partner what have you. The number of downloads should tell you something, moping around for a pat on the back will get you nuthing.

Have enjoyed most of your courses, but don't pop in all that often so it's been weeks at least before I'm back and often forget to post a reply. Sorry, but that's life. It's not that we don't appreciate your efforts, I just don't like being told I SHOULD/HAVE to appreciate them.

Good luck in your next endeavor, hopefully you'll find what it is you are looking for.
Cheers mate

I would like to say thank you Mr. Munro , for all the wonderful courses you have designed over the years. Ithink most people don't realize the time and effort it takes to design a course and just start taking for granted that there will be new courses to download every time they enter the site.I myself am guilty of this and I apologize.

Combine the comments of golfrick007, PhilT & scully - that would sum up what I'd like to say about this course. Another 5* from me for this lovely work, Neil...

Thanks for the great course, where does one get the "special CLS file" to make the windmills work?

TY all for positive comments, 1% of people who downloaded this course bothered their *** to say well done, or TY or I didnt like this course because................. Quite honestly, to the ingrates who download my courses without thinking of the time it takes to make them, and who feel it is their right to do so without bothering to comment on how good or bad they think they are then..... **** You, you wont be getting any more. This isnt just the case for my courses, its about all the designers who give up their time to keep a dying game alive and from the majority of downloaders get no credit. Im done on here and any courses I make in future will be for my own satisfaction. Thanks to all who have taken the time to comment on my courses, to everyone else.....

Watch Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H58nL7y9Wgc and see that the real course - at Madeira- is even more impressive than this Munro Masterpiece.
What a course and what great designers (Ballesteros & Munro).
You can only do one thing: download and play this course.
All honours for Munroco Design!

A thoroughly memorable signature course creation by one of our Master course designers. Munruco Course Designs never fails to deliver the goods and this beauty is no exception. His choice of this Ballesteros designed course is in many ways adventurous yet sublimley unpretensious. Neil has that unique ability to see behind the curtain, so to speak, and find the hidden wizard. I must say that the back nine were especially entertaining with 13 thru the 15th poised to deliver a crushing blow to your handicap should you fail to meet their demands. The 13th is real kewl. 5**** for this piece of craftly engineered real estate.

played this one last night and loved it, you have to be carefull of the fairways your ball can roll off on the front 9! but back nine is very scenic at times carnoustie-esque (is that a word?) yes 5 star for me, got to play colonial tonight

Great job on this one Neil, it's worth the wait to get to the back nine. lot's of water and cliff's in play.
Add some wind and go for it. Thanks again Neil
